he European Association for Aquatic Mammals (E.A.A.M.) The European Association for Aquatic Mammals (E.A.A.M.) was founded in 1972 at a meeting at the Dolfinarium of Harderwijk, the Netherlands. The E.A.A.M. is an organisation of people interested in marine mammals in human care, in a zoological environment or in the wild, and includes veterinarians, biologists, zoo and marine park directors and managers, trainers (husbandry professionals), researchers, students and other persons who devote a significant amount of time to the welfare of marine mammals through research, medical care, training, education, conservation, management and related activities.

The European Association for Aquatic Mammals invites authors to submit abstracts for oral, poster and short talk presentations for its upcoming 43rd Annual Symposium, which is due to take place in Kolmårdens Wildlife Park, Sweden, from 24th – 26th of March, 2015.
