Fjord and Baelt in Denmark is hosting an Ph.D. Class on Research Training of Aquatic Animals. It is scheduled Monday, 2 June through Wednesday, 11 June 2008. Lectures are combined with practical trials where the students train and try out various training methods under the supervision of the teachers. Morigenos in Slovenia is offering Summer Dolphin Research Camps offer people to join their team for 10 days and participate in its research activities. The camps include fieldwork (boat- and land-based, photo-identification), lectures, visits of natural monuments, etc. Anyone above the age of 16 can participate, regardless of nationality or field of expertise. ABC Dolphin Trainer Academy: Mexican Caribbean is to be held 22–26 September, 2008. Dolphin Discovery Puerto Aventuras, Mexico will be the host for this new and unique learning opportunity. This program is specifically designed for those who are interested in a career in training marine mammals. This is a phenomenally interactive fun and engaging 5-day workshop.
